Forum Rules (21/01/09)
1) Let's be friends
Don't randomly flame other forum members, and be mean for no real reason. Do not use racist remarks agaisnt any member and do not swear excessively. Arguments are fine as long as you don't get too personal.
2) Grammar is your friend
Don't post stupid or pointless posts, and please write in full sentences and spell words correctly. Do not spam or advertise, etc.
3) Illegal = bad
Please do not post porn or any other illegal material . You are allowed to link to any site as long as they don't contain the fore-mentioned materials.
4) The internet is a repetitve place
Please no excessive use of memes or fads. I don't want the forums crammed with stuff that you find on every forum....ever.
5) Wash your mouth with soap
Swearing is not agaisnt the GC Forum rules, however excessive swearing is. Do not attack other members with offensive words; Do not just throw swear words into your posts for no good reason and do not use any offensive words that could be seen as racist.
6) No posts in 6 months....the topic is dead
Do not bump old topics, if there hasn't been a post in a while it's because it's dead, let it rest in peace. You can bump your own topic if you have something new and generally exciting to tell. The same goes for double-posting, don't simply double-post to push your topic to the top of the list with "bump". You ca double-post if you have something new and appropiate to add to the topic, otherwise it's stronly advised against.
7) Lol
Don't post a single word like "XD" or "lol". This is conisdered as spam. Therefore post something that adds something to the topic. If you haven't got anything constructive to say....don't say anything.
That's pretty much all i can think of at the moment, however if any more rules pop on my head I'll add them at a later date. Stick to these rules and you're GC Forum adventure will be a happy one.
